Barcelona could have a busy transfer window ahead in January, with Rafinha and Denis Suarez both keen to leave the club given their scarce playing time under Ernesto Valverde.
The latter has hardly played this season and is keen to land at a spot where he’ll earn minutes.
The Catalan club are aware of Suarez’s wish and are willing to look for potential clubs to move him on to, with Valencia and Chelsea both believed to be interested.
Rafinha’s case is similar.
He was already close to leaving in the summer, but a move to Real Betis couldn’t be finalised due to economic reasons.
Despite this, he still plans to leave the Camp Nou, having only really played this season as a result of the now-recovered Lionel Messi’s injury.
Having done well while on loan at Inter for the second half of last season, he has suitors in Italy and Roma are interested in him, while there is also some interest in England.
As was the case in the summer, the desire is to seal a sale and not a loan deal, with the club looking to bring in 25 million euros.
These aren’t the only two players who could be on their way out, as Sergi Samper is another who could exit.
His situation is different, though, as he is only in the squad this season because he hadn’t fully recovered from a long-term injury in the summer.
It remains to be seen if there are any teams interested in him and how much they’d be willing to pay.
At Barcelona, the aim is to bring in some money by selling the players who aren’t part of the coach’s plans.
